India witnessed a rise of 3,095 fresh COVID-19 cases:- According to Health ministry of India, on friday India as witnessed 3,095 fresh COVID-19 cases in a single-day rise with the active cases increasing to 15,208.
As per the reports, the case toll rised to 5,30,867 with 5 deaths. In 24 hours, one death each in Goa and Gujarat states reported and 3 deaths in Kerala.
The daily positive cases were recorded at 2.61 per cent while in the week the positive cases were at 1.91 per cent. 4.47 crore (4,47,15,786) total covid cases are recorded.
As in the Union Health ministry website, the active cases now comprise 0.03 per cent of the total infections while the national recovery rate has been recorded at 98.78 per cent. So far 220.65 crore Covid vaccine doses were taken under the nationwide drive.
