KCR Inaugurates New Secretariat:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurated the new secretariat building on Sunday. The building was named after BR Ambedkar. The wonderful structure of Telangana’s new secretariat building is 256 feet tall and built over 10.5 lakh square feet on 28 acres.
KCR occupied the new building at around 1:30 PM on the 30th of April. Sudarsana Yagam started at 6 AM and the ministers also occupied their respective chambers at the same time. The foundation stone of the Telangana secretariat was laid on June 27th 2019 and was delayed due to the pandemic. The new buildings were constructed based on the styles of the Neelakanteswara Swamy temple of the Kakatiya period in Nizamabad.

Telangana ministers have started their work by signing on some important files. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao signed files of guidelines for the distribution of double-bedroom houses. Harish Rao signed Rs 151.64Cr to extend financial assistance to farmers. Sathyavathi Rathod, Women and Child Welfare Minister signed a file to supply fine rice to Anganwadi centres under the ICDS programme.
V Prashanth Reddy, Roads and Buildings Ministers filed the approval of the appointment of officials. Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy signed a file to supply green manure seeds to farmers for the next season to promote organic farming. All the other ministers of Telangana signed their first files immediately after occupying their chairs.
