Vijayawada Apsara Theatre on Fire:- On the occasion of Jr NTR’s 40th birthday, his superhit film Simhadri was released in theatres. The theatres were jam-packed with fans and more than 1200 shows were organized across. There were early screenings across South India and the USA. Simhadri was the second collaboration of NTR and Rajamouli and the film was the first blockbuster for the hero.

Excited fans of Jr NTR burnt crackers at the theatres where the special show of Simhadri is being held. At Vijayawada Apsara theatre fans burnt crackers inside the theatre and which led to a fire accident inside the theatre. No casualties were reported, but the seats were completely burnt in the fire.
