High Court Grants Bail For Avinash Reddy:- Telangana high court on May 31st granted conditional anticipatory bail for MP YS Avinash Reddy in former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy's murder case. The special vacation bench took up hearing the anticipatory bail petition as per Supreme Court’s direction. While CBI and YS Viveka's daughter Sunithe Reddy opposed the bail. Telangana vacation bench granted bail with a condition that Avinash Reddy should be available for CBI investigation every Saturday between 10 AM to 5:00 PM till June end. Avinash was also asked not to leave the country without permission.
CBI opposed the bail saying that Avinash Reddy skipped attending the investigation and he was accused of paying 4Cr for the person who executed the murder. CBI also appealed to the court that Avinash Reddy and Vivekananda Reddy have a political rivalry and Avinash Reddy was also on WhatsApp call on the night murder took place.
Telangana High Court has scheduled the anticipatory bail petition appeal after the summer vacation. But YS Sunitha approached the Supreme Court in order of delay. As a jolt to the CBI and Sunitha Reddy, today Telangana High Court granted bail.
CBI has to finish the investigation and file the final report before June 30th.
