Vizag MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar gets six months Jail Term:- Visakhapatnam South MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar from TDP was sentenced to a six-month jail term by the second additional district judge. He was also fined Rs 5000 on charges of attacking a person.

In detail, Bora Ramachandra Reddy from the Marripalem area had a dispute with Bora Durga Reddy. The issue is already in court after Rama Chandra Reddy filed a complaint on Durga Reddy, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar and Subba Reddy alleging trespass into his property and causing damage on August 16th, 2006. After 17 long years, the court has delivered the judgement on Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar and his fellow mates who trespassed on the property.

In 2008 a similar complaint was lodged by Ramachandra Reddy. Where that case still is in the court. At that time, the police refused to register the case, where with no option he had to file a private complaint. Subba Reddy, one of the accused, died during the trial. The second additional district judge has convicted the remaining.

MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar has stated that he would challenge the conviction of the district court in the High Court.
