Indigo flight makes an Emergency Landing in Pakistan:- IndiGo Airlines reported on Thursday that one of their international flights bound for Hyderabad had to make an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan. This decision was prompted by a passenger experiencing a medical emergency on board, unfortunately resulting in the passenger's death upon arrival. The incident occurred on Wednesday.
According to the airline, the captain of IndiGo flight 6E 68, which was traveling from Jeddah to Hyderabad, diverted the flight to Karachi. Upon landing, a doctor attended to the passenger, but their efforts were in vain. The passenger was declared dead upon arrival.
After completing the necessary procedures, the flight departed from Karachi and arrived in Hyderabad at 0908 IST, as stated by the airline. In a similar occurrence that took place in August of this year, another IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Ranchi had to be redirected to Nagpur due to a medical emergency on board. The passenger was then taken off the flight and promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
