Ambati Rayudu bids goodbye to YSRCP:- Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu, who recently joined the YSR Congress Party, has now announced his departure from the party and his decision to take a break from politics. Rayudu did not disclose the reason behind his sudden exit but assured that he will reveal his future plans in due time. "I would like to inform everyone that I have chosen to resign from the YSRCP and take a temporary break from politics. I will share my next steps at the appropriate time," Rayudu stated in a social media post.

Rayudu, who retired from the Indian Premier League (IPL) after his team Chennai Super Kings' victory in May 2023, had joined the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh just last week. His induction into the party took place in the presence of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy, and Rajampeta Lok Sabha member P Mithun Reddy. "YSRCP announced the joining of Ambati Tirupati Rayudu in the presence of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at the CM's camp office," the party shared on social media platform X.

Ambati Rayudu, a former cricketer with experience playing for multiple state cricket bodies, has recently been engaging with the general public through a range of initiatives. As the Assembly and Parliament elections in Andhra Pradesh approach, Rayudu's political path remains uncertain, and he may make a decision in the near future.
