Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu's crucial meeting about BJP Alliance:- Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu's crucial meeting about BJP Alliance:- Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Jana Sena Party, had a meeting with N Chandrababu Naidu, the president of Telugu Desam Party, at Naidu's residence in Amaravati on March 6th. The main topic of discussion was the possibility of forming an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu and Kalyan are planning to visit Delhi to have further discussions with the BJP leadership. It should be noted that the TDP and Jana Sena leaders have previously mentioned that they are open to the idea of BJP joining their alliance. It is believed that most of the BJP leaders in the state are in favor of this alliance, as they see it as an opportunity to challenge the ruling YSR Congress. The final decision on the alliance will be made by the central leadership of the BJP. In addition to the alliance talks, Naidu and Kalyan also discussed the second list of candidates for their respective parties. The seat-sharing agreement between TDP and Jana Sena was announced on February 24th, with Jana Sena being allocated 24 Assembly seats and 3 Lok Sabha seats by the TDP.

The list consists of five potential candidates. Chandrababu Naidu also mentioned that if the BJP decides to join the alliance, they will engage in discussions and make an appropriate choice. Even before the saffron party made a decision, Jana Sena, which is affiliated with the BJP-led NDA, joined forces with the TDP. Pawan Kalyan has been persistently attempting to persuade the BJP leadership to join the alliance in order to prevent the splitting of anti-YSRCP votes.

Chandrababu Naidu met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda in Delhi on February 7 to discuss the possibility of a three-party electoral alliance for the upcoming elections. The TDP leaders claimed that the meeting was arranged at the invitation of the BJP. However, no agreement was reached regarding the alliance. TDP, which had severed ties with the BJP in 2018, expressed interest in renewing the alliance after suffering a crushing defeat in the 2019 elections. However, the BJP had been unresponsive to Naidu's efforts as the Jagan government in the state had maintained a friendly relationship with the Union government and provided support in passing several significant bills in Parliament.
