Over the course of the next 17 days, the former Chief Minister plans to conduct roadshows in 12 Lok Sabha constituencies, concluding with a public meeting in Siddipet on May 10. His objective is to directly engage with farmers by visiting their fields and gathering points, in order to gain firsthand knowledge of their challenges and concerns. Despite the scorching temperatures, he has been warmly received by crowds at major junctions along the way. At villages like Anneparthy, Arjalabavi, and Madugulapalli, farmers have halted the convoy to express their grievances.
The farmers voiced their complaints regarding issues with irrigation, inconvenient power outages, and the delay in obtaining paddy. They recalled a time when these challenges did not exist during the BRS regime and expressed their desire for the party to regain power and address their concerns. In turn, Chandrashekhar Rao urged the farmers to be ready for another protest, encouraging them to unite and ensure a sufficient water supply and electricity for their agricultural lands.
