CBN appeals to voters on AP Land Titling Act:- During an election meeting in the Annamayya district on May 5th, Telugu Desam Party national president N. Chandrababu Naidu warned the people of Andhra Pradesh about the potential dangers of the A.P. Land Titling Act enforced by the YSRCP government. He accused Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of using the legislation to confiscate land owned by his party leaders. Mr. Naidu promised to maintain all welfare programs if the NDA comes to power. He shared the stage with N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, a BJP candidate from Rajampet Lok Sabha constituency and former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Reddy claimed that the countdown had begun for Mr. Jagan's government and that he couldn't avoid punishment for his wrongdoings. He also said that the "Modi guarantees" and the TDP's "super six schemes" were causing Mr. Jagan sleepless nights. Mr. Naidu accused Minister for Forests P. Ramachandra Reddy of being synonymous with land grabbing, sand mafia, and red sanders smuggling.
Mr. Naidu claimed that there was a rise in violence within Tamballapalle constituency, citing an incident where a pregnant woman was reportedly physically attacked by members of the YSRCP party while requesting access to drinking water. He also accused Tamballapalle MLA Peddireddi Dwarakanath Reddy's wife of being present during the altercation. Additionally, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy accused the Reddy family of exploiting natural resources in the Rayalaseema area.
