Six dead in a brutal accident in Palnadu district:- Police reported that a bus carrying 42 people, who had cast their votes on May 13th, collided with a lorry in the Chilakaluripet mandal of Palnadu district today (May 15), resulting in the deaths of at least six people. Those injured were treated at Chilakaluripet town government hospital before being referred to Guntur for further medical attention. The deceased have been identified as four residents of district Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, namely Anji (35), Uppgundur Kashi (65), Uppugundur Lakshmi (55), and Mupparaju Khyati Saishri (8), while the identities of the other two are still being established. The bus was travelling from Chinnaganjam, a Mandal in Bapatla district to Hyderabad when the accident occurred, leaving both vehicles completely destroyed.
