Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced hike in FDI in Defense and Insurance sectors to 49 percent. BJP which promised to develop 100 smart cities has alloted Rs 7,600 crores for them. Jaitley said a decision on GST will be taken this year and discussions with states are going on and final call will be taken after modifications are done. Jaitley also added that around the clock power is the main target of the ruling government.
