An Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus fell of the road from 20 feet high which killed 11 people while the remaining in bus were severely injured. The bus was on its way to Penukonda from Madakasira and the incident reportedly happened at 8:15 AM.  Most of the injured are students who take bus to reach their colleges.

According to the eye witness, the bus driver was trying to avoid a autorickshaw that was coming from the opposite side and accident it fell of the road. However, thanks to 108 ambulance which reached the spot within 20 minutes after the incident occurred. The injured were shifted to Anantpur hospital.
