Woman Forgets Phone and What Happens Next Will Shock You:- Smartphone has become the basic need of every human being these days. In a shocking incident that took place in Mumbai, a 23-year old Mumbai woman forgot her phone in an auto rickshaw after which she has been left in shock. She never imagined that her Whatsapp account will be misused for months. The woman has been left in shock after all her contacts started getting messages demanding money by the conman. It was then, one of her friend sent a tweet to the official Mumbai police handle and the investigation is on.
The conman is even using the woman’s pictures along with some personal messages to con her friends along with her family members. The name of the woman has not been disclosed by the cops as a part of the security measures. She works as an executive for an event based company and on June 20th, she left her mobile in an auto. She was said to have been travelling from Mulund railway station to St Pius school at 9 PM. She realized that she forgot her mobile after reaching her home and she started calling her number. The phone kept ringing and no one answered.
After few days, she has been asked by her friends why she was asking Rs 20000 on Whatsapp after which she realized that a conman has been misusing her phone and Whatsapp. She then got her simcard blocked. Even after retrieving the new sim card and contacts, the conman managed to create a new Whatsapp account with the information of her phone. He even sent messages to all the contacts revealing that this is her new number and demanded Rs 20000.
The cops did not take the issue seriously initially as they felt it is the case of lost mobile. However on July 2nd a FIR has been lodged and the investigation has been on. The conman sent two bank accounts for payment. One among the accounts was a salary account based in Goa. The other account has been based in Uttar Pradesh. The culprit is yet to be tracked and chased. An investigation is on currently and a team of officials have been to Goa to find out the news about the conman.
