Tamil Nadu Bus Conductor Fined for not Issuing Ticket to a Pigeon:- In a shocking incident, a bus conductor in Tamil Nadu has been questioned for not issuing a bus ticket for a pigeon which has been travelling in a bus. A conductor working with the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has been issued memorandum for the pigeon which has been allowed in the bus. The pigeon was accompanying a drunk passenger. The incident took place in a government bus connecting Harur town and a remote tribal village, Ellavadi. With over 80 passengers, the transport department inspectors in a forest area have stopped the bus.

The drunk passenger has been spotted having a conversation with the pigeon after which the checking inspector asked the conductor if he issued a ticket for the pigeon. Though the conductor defended about an animal issued ticket, the checking inspector issued a memorandum for the conductor. The inspector revealed the rules of the transport department and asked the conductor to collect one-fourth of the fare of their passengers. If the passengers carry over 30 pigeons, full fare should be collected informed the inspector. The conductor has been left in shock with this.
