The Indian government is also imposing heavy fines for those who are out without masks. A Pune man got a gold mask made which costed him Rs 2.89 lakhs. The golden mask is made with minute holes throughout so that he would not face any difficulty to breathe. A golden lover named Shankar Kurade got this gold mask and the pictures of him with his golden mask are all over the internet and social media circles. He got the idea of getting a gold mask and he immediately approached a gold shop.
Shankar Kurade got this idea after he saw a man wearing a silver mask in Kolhapur. Shankar Kurade watched a video of the man with a silver mask and he could not wait to get a golden mask. He got the five and half-pound gold mask prepared in a week and it costed Rs 2.89 lakhs for Shankar Kurade. He also said that he is getting more golden masks for his family masks. Shankar Kurade said that he is not sure if the golden mask can work as a regular mask but he is just following the government issued guidelines.
Shankar Kurade is from Pimpri Chinchwad of Pune district. He said that he did not face any breathing difficulties because the mask is well made with enough holes. Shankar Kurade is fond of gold and he wears rings, bracelets and heavy chains on a regular basis. The golden mask of Shankar Kurade created enough buzz and laughter across the circles of social media.
