Officer Pumped Out Whole Dam Water To Find His Smartphone:- Rajesh Vishwas, food inspector of Koyalibeda block, Chattisgarh had dropped his Samsung S23 smartphone of worth 96,000/- in dam water of 15-foot-deep. To get his phone, Rajesh pumped out 21 Lakh litres of water in 4 days by talking to the Irrigation department. He used a 30-horsepower diesel pump to pump out the water.
The officer somehow managed to get his phone after four days, which was not in working condition. After discharging 41,104 cubic meters of water, which might irrigate 1500 acres of land he got his phone back.
Rajesh defends himself by saying that the pumped water is a waste and unfit water. Water was emptied by using a diesel pump by spending Rs 7000/- to 8000/-on diesel.
Villagers and divers made efforts to find the phone and advised him to pump out the water of 2-3 feet. With the oral statement of the Sub-Divisinal Officer (SDO), Rajesh has pumped out the water. But by the end whole dam was emptied.
