Renault keeps its focus in India and trying to increase exports from India

Renault models are roaring in the Indian market and they became a great threat for all other competitor brands. Duster and Kwid are doing pretty well and the company has already sold near about 75000 units of KWID from September 2015. KWID has already given a tough competition to the Maruti for the entry level hatchback segment.

Now, the company is taking India as one of their prime manufacturer hubs and planning to increase exports from India. The company is now trying to grab all neighbour countries of India like Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. Moreover, they are also planning to conquer the South African market and as well as, other African countries like Brazil. The French manufacturer company has already started to manufacturer KWID in Brazil and for this, they are planning to export components and other consumables from India.

Recently, some of the astonishing statistics related to Renault's sales figure have come forward. This year from January to July, Renault has already sold near about 73,863 units whereas, in last year during the same time, the company was able to sell only 25,032 units which means the company has achieved 195 percent growth in sales numbers. Another striking factor is that; this year Renault India has exported 441 units from April to June while on last financial year, they have exported only 56.

Seeing the rising demand of KWID, the company is planning to start the third shift at their Chennai plant. So, now the company is aiming to produce near about 9,000-9,500 units of the KWID.
