Fiat has launched its much-awaited Avventura Urban Cross in India at a starting price of Rs. 6.85 lakh going up to Rs. 9.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Urban Cross first came across as a concept in February, at the 2016 Auto Expo, in Delhi.
The Fiat Urban Cross has been launched with two fuel options with both petrol and diesel. It gets the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine of the Fiat, which is tuned to deliver 93 hp of power. The 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine, on the other hand, has been tuned to deliver 142 hp of peak power.
The Urban Cross also comes with the best-in-class ground clearance of 205 mm and sports a similar styling as Avventura. And when it comes to the large 16-inch "Scorpion" alloy wheels, only the top of the line Avventura Urban Cross variant will claim it.
Similarly, Fiat has also made the diesel option available in both the Active and Dynamic variants, which also get the piano-black alloys. However, the petrol option is made available only with the Emotion variant. And the bootlid-mounted spare wheel will go missing in all the variants, while it also gets placed inside the boot.
As far as the digital features are concerned, the Fiat Avventura Urban Cross gets a 5.0-inch Smartech touchscreen infotainment system that also has Bluetooth Connectivity and Navigation in all variants.
And also to just pep up the festive season, Fiat also offers mood-based interior visual and material enhancements to go with the festive season. Burgundy interiors in the Emotion and Dynamic variants along with piano-black seats, armrests and door inserts are made available too.
