The Union Bank of India has started new services keeping in view its customers who have been expecting more from banking. Named as Union Experiences, the new service was started off at Jubilee Hills area in Hyderabad. The commissioner for agriculture, Usha Rani has started these new services on Monday.
The new service would enable customers get cheque books directly from the machines that are installed at the bank. This service would also be made available at other cities such as Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune. The UBI officials have said that they have come up with this new service in order to avoid the time of their customers.
It may be noted that SBI has recently come out with new facility and it was also first started off at Jubilee Hills area in Hyderabad. It looks like banks are trying to attract new customers besides retaining the old ones. (Phani)
