Software major, Microsoft has thrown open the doors of its exclusive social networking website So.cl to the common public free of cost. This would be like any other social networking site, which enables users to get connected besides posting and commenting on the topics of their choice.

The sources close to Microsoft have said that So.cl would not be a rival to the other social networking websites and it’s being introduced as an experiment.

What’s special?

The best part of Microsoft’s social networking website is that it allows the public to create collages (With and without content) and can share the same with the members in the circle. One need not specifically sign up with So.cl. The new social networking site has been integrated with Facebook. So, you can directly logon to So.cl using your facebook user id and password and your details are So.cl activities will not be reflected on FB’s account unless you choose the option.

Microsoft has said that it the new social site is targeted at youngsters. We have to wait and watch whether it would be fast catching among youths.
