Nokia rolls out 41 megapixel camera phone

Mobile phones major Nokia has rolled out the first ever 41 megapixel camera phone-Nokia 808 PureView-into the Indian market on Wednesday. Priced at Rs. 33, 899 PureView is the much awaited handset by all Nokia loyalists. The best part of the phone is that it has got Carl Zeiss optics that can catch the best picture.

What's special?
It is the first that that a mobile phone by Nokia has given so much flexibility while shooting the photographs. One can fix the resolution of the camera to 2MP or 3MP and so on before they click the photo.  Although it's 41 MP camera, the maximum megapixel limit is 38 in 4:3 aspect ration. If you want to click the photo in 16:9 ration, then you cannot aim higher than 34 megapixel.

Operating system:
Nokia PureView runs on Symbian Belle Operating system. While many people prefer Android over Symbian, this phone sticks to Symbian itself. The experts opine that this could be one drawback.

Technical specifications:
Nokia 808 PureView has got 1.3 GHz processor and comes with an internal memory of 16 GB. The expandable memory is 32 GB. The device also has a RAM of 512 MB.

Nokia PureView has a touch screen equipped with 1/1.2” censor. The censor is more than two times bigger than N8 series. The zoom capacity is 4x.
