Makuta plans to expand Indian activities

Makuta vfx the company that made the house fly, a hero across the south, is all set to woo more Indian films across the nation. Yes the creators of Telugu fictional character Eega (in Tamil Naan Ee) are planning to increase their presence in India and abroad. Makuta Effects India, a subsidiary of US-based Makuta Inc, is a fully-fledged visual effects facility covering a full gamut of requirements from active on-set visual effects supervision through to immerse digital set extension, digital matte painting, high-end feature animation and effects work, clean-up, motion tracking and final composting.

In its expansion plan the company plans to triple its headcount in India, but will also improve technology with focus on research and development for new projects. Makuta is currently in talks with two production houses, including one in Bollywood, for new projects. While the existing studio can handle a maximum of four projects at a time, it is working only on two projects to ensure high quality work.

The company gave wings to the weird imagination of the versatile director S S Rajamouli. And inturn the wonderful block buster tale had been woven.
