Ratan Tata Admits Nano Marketing Fault

Ratan Tata who took the Nano car as a prestigious mission giving his heart to it still believes that the sale of the car will take off once the stigma of cheap car is shaken off from it.

He compared the Nano car with that of two wheelers and said it is safe, convenient and can be used in all weathers.  He said the marketing strategy was wrongly taken up by calling it a cheap car which made a negative impact on the people of India.  


Ratan Tata says that the company is going to focus on foreign market where this type stigma is not attached to Nano.  

CNG emax version was launched by Tata Motors in October and going to make a diesel version soon to attract Indian Market.  

Ratan Tata says in an interview with CNBC news channel that it is a ‘People’s Car’ but not a ‘Cheap car’.
