Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Is All Set To Enter Private Security Business:- According to Patanjali officials, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Group, is all set to enter the private security business.

Patanjali Group has gained a major foothold in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market and Ayurvedic products business. The security wing of the newcomer Patanjali would be known as Ramdev’s “Parakram Suraksha Private Limited” with the punch line “Parakram Suraksha, Aapki Raksha”.

The retired army personnel, para-military troopers and police personnel would be roped in to “differently and professionally train” recruits as private security guards. According to a statement released by the yoga guru, with the aim of instilling “patriotic fervor among youngsters” and “to create an ambiance conducive for physical and mental development of the trainees”, the company was going ahead with this expansion. “Our aim is to now inspire a sense of security among individuals and resolve to work towards the protection of our country,” the statement from the yoga guru said. Officials said the company would have a pan-Indian presence.

In 2006, Baba Ramdev along with his associate Acharya Balkrishna, had set up Patanjali Ayurveda. In the FMCG market, it now has a considerable share and has logged a phenomenal revenue generation of Rs 10,561 crore in the last fiscal year.
