Rupee Touches Record Low Per USD:- The India rupee hits a record low of Rs 70 against US Dollar in the opening trade today. The Indian rupee has been depreciated by 10% this year. The rupee came down by Rs 1.08 yesterday amid fears that Turkish currency turmoil could turn into a global financial crisis. Around 11 AM today, the rupee reached all time low after it reached Rs 70.08 against the US Dollar.

The Reserve Bank of India has intervened in the open market to curb rupee's fall. BSE Sensex recovered 184.93 points, or 0.49 per cent, to 37,829.83 points early today. The rupee’s fall today was largely due to domestic reasons. There has been a lot of panic from importers with the huge decline of Indian rupee.
