Mukesh Ambani Is The Ninth Richest Businessman Globally:- Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani is now the ninth richest businessman in the globe currently. Reliance Industries Limited's market capitalization crossed Rs 11 trillion mark by Friday after which Mukesh Ambani is named as the ninth richest businessman as per the Forbes Real-time Billionaires List. Mukesh Ambani is now ahead of Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the co-founders of Google and they are in the tenth and eleventh places respectively. Mukesh Ambani was ranked 21st on the Forbes annual billionaire list in March 2020. His net worth was said to be 36.8 billion USD.

The shares of Reliance Industries Limited reached an all-time high of Rs 1788.60 on Friday and they ended up at Rs 1759.50. This happened after Mukesh Ambani announced that the company is now debt-free after it saw a decline in March. Reliance Industries Limited had a net debt of Rs 1.61 trillion by March and Mukesh Ambani managed to raise Rs 1.68 trillion after he sold off the stake of 24.7 percent to various platforms from Jio. Right from Facebook, several firms invested in RIL after which it turned debt-free. Rs 53,124 crores are raised and they received Rs 13,281 crores already. The remaining 75% is expected to come in the financial year 2022.
