Apple Registers Record September Quarter In India:- Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the third quarter of the sales in India is a new record despite of the coronavirus pandemic. The results are announced on October 29th and Apple saw strong revenues backed by the international markets. Tim Cook said "Geographically, we set September quarter records in the Americas, Europe and rest of Asia Pacific. We also set a September quarter record in India, thanks in part to a very strong reception to this quarter’s launch of our online store in the country". The online store which was launched in the country turned out to be a huge boost for the Indian sales said Tim Cook.

The overall revenue for Apple in the third quarter are said to be 64.7 billion USD and iPhone sales came down by 20 percent and the profits dropped 7 percent to 12.7 billion USD. Apple witnessed the biggest slump in China and the revenue sunk by 25 percent due to the lack of new iPhones in the market during the quarter. Tim Cook said that keeping the financial performance aside, we are back with a great fondness or nostalgia. The sales of iPhone fell down globally but Apple registered the highest revenues. The new iPhone 12 series too has been announced recently and the sales are said to be exceptional.
