Tearing off of the copies of the Telangana Bill triggered off Telangana leaders' fury. TDP MLAs Devineni Uma and Payyavula Keshav and TDP MLC Satish Reddy tore off the copies of the bill at the media point. Afterwards many TDP leaders and YSR Congress Party leaders followed suit.
Objecting to it, the Telangana leaders went on to them to physically combat. They said that it is insulting Telangana people. TDP MLC Nannapaneni Rajakumari fell down in the melee.
Police who were alert all the way observing the situation and anticipating it swung into action and stopped them from fighting.
