Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) chairperson Mayawati’s depicted picture as the goddess Kali, holding the severed head of HRD minister Smriti Irani, is now going viral, after the party worker Balmukund Dhuria posted it on his facebook page.
She can be seen stomping on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Balmukund Dhuria also wrote a post on his Facebook account hailing Mayawati and said, “Bhajpaiyon Hoshiyar, nahin chalega jhuth, beimaani ka vyapaar, behanji hain taiyar, abki bar BSP sarkar”.
Balmukund Dhuria is reportedly said to one of the close aids of BSP state president, Ram Achal Rajbhar. However, after the Facebook post went viral, he denied having known Dhuria.
Upon the force from the party insiders, Dhuria later deleted the post, but the picture was already downloaded by many and started trending it on the social networking sites.
When asked to respond on the picture, Dhuria said such pictures keep emerging on the internet and cartoons should not be taken seriously.
When people do not have anything to argue, they end up resorting to such acts, State BJP president Laxmikant Bajpai said, condemning the cartoon.
BSP workers should not worship Goddess Kali, Bajpai said. Mayawati recently had taken on Irani in Rajya Sabha, blaming the government for mishandling HCU student suicide case. Hitting back at her, the minister had said that, she would offer her head at Mayawati’s feet.
