The brand equity database, Brandz has released its seventh annual list of top 100 most valuable global brands in 2012. Two companies from India have managed to secure the place in top 100 best brands in the country. They are ICICI Bank and Airtel. ICICI was listed last time too and this time it has dropped by ten places.
Apple becomes number one among Top 100 Most Valuable Brands 2012. IBM has secured second place, Google got third position followed by Microsoft. Notably, McDonald’s secured 4th position and it is the only non-tech company to be placed amongst top five most valuable brands. Cococola secured 6th position!
Notably, ICICI Bank got 67th position and Airtel secured 71st rank. ICICI is ahead of Volkswagen, Sony, Nissan, Standard Chartered and Citibank.
