Bengaluru Bulls Beat Bengal Warriors 27-25

Bengal Warriors lost the battle at the few final moments against Bengaluru Bulls by 2 points in 42nd game of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League 2016 on Tuesday at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium in Kolkata. After the win Bengaluru Bulls are at 6th spot with 4 wins and scoring 26 points, whereas Bengal Warriors are at 7th rank with scoring 21 points with 2 wins.

Rohit Kumar got the much needed momentum and scored three raid points after Jang Kun Lee’s two points as Bulls were trailing 12-16 in the second half. As Manu Goyat scored two raid points,  Bengal Warriors cemented their lead 22-16 in the 34th minute. Bulls’ super tackle helped them to cut the difference between the score to just three. Bengaluru Bulls again scored a tackle point the threw Jang Kun Lee out of the game as they were trailing 21-23. Only few minutes were remaining were Bulls gathered a raid point as well as Ashish Kumar’s crucial tackle point as they were trailing 23-24. At the end, everything was dependent on Rohit Kumar and he successfully delivered with scoring a last minute raid when less than 30 seconds were reaming to bring the score to 27-25 at the end.

Earlier, in the first half, Nitin Madane’s opening point helped Bengal Warriors went on to score more points took 5-2 lead after eight minutes. Despite, Bulls’ counter at 10 minute leveling the score 5-5, after 15 minutes, Vishal Mane scored two points  and registered huge lead on Bulls of 10-5. Jang Kun Lee also scored two points and Bengal Warriors inflicted their first all out on Bulls as they lead 13-5. As star raider Rohit Kumar was struggling, Bulls were trailing 8-15 against Warriors at the end of the first half.
