Recipe: Bombay Masala Pav:- There are a lot of new choices for breakfast and Bombay Masala Pav offers a spicy treat with all the needed flavours. This one is a popular street food in Mumbai and the fresh pavs are touched with onion and tomato masala. Here is the process of making Bombay Masala Pav:
Ingredients:
1 – Large potato boiled, peeled and grated
2 – Medium onions, finely chopped
2 – Large tomatoes, finely chopped
2 tbsp – Green capsicum, finely chopped
4 – Pavs
2 tbsp – Butter
1 tbsp – Ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste
1 tbsp – Red chilli paste
1 tsp – Red chilli powder
2 tbsp – Pav bhaji masala
½ tbsp – Lemon juice
1½ tbsp – Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
Process:
Cut the pav into small pieces and heat the burner in a non-stick pan. Add some ginger garlic paste and add onions. Mix it well till it turns brown. Add the tomatoes and mix it gently. Continue the process till the tomatoes turn soft and pulpy. Add chilli powder and a mix of chilli paste. Add the potato and mix it. Then add some pav bhaji masala along with some water and capsicum. Add the pav pieces and mix it completely. Then add some lemon juice, coriander leaves and cook for a minute. Your Bombay Masala Pav is now ready.
