Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s (TTD’s) Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam 2012 in the United States of America is underway. The Devasthanams started this function to make sure that scores of people in the United States will have a glimpse of the holy ritual-Kalyanam. This Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam is one of the daily sevas that are performed in Tirumala. While devotees need to book the tickets at least 60 days in advance or 90 days in advance (if it’s online) for seva. But, Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam seva at USA will be free of the cost.
Since the seva is conducted by the TTD, the deities were brought from Tirumala to US. Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam was started on 28 April at Sacremento and it would conclude on June 3 at California. TTD decided to conduct this seva at 10 cities and Kalyanam was already performed at seven cities so far.
