In yet another case wherein NRI parents' seeking India's help for getting their son back from the custody of authorities, the external affairs minister S M Krishna asked the Indian embassy in the United States of America to report to him in detail on the fight of Indian couple in New Jersey.

Debasis and Pamela, the parents of 11-month-old Indrashish hailed from West Bengal. They settled in the United States long back. In an unfortunate incident, their son fell off the bed during a night a month ago. He was immediately rushed to the hospital wherein a surgery was performed and after a month, the baby is okay now. However, the boy was not given to the hands of their parents as the US child service authorities denied access to the parents alleging that the parent were not taking sufficient care of the baby.

The father of the baby, Debasis said that his kid be handed over to their relatives in India in case  the officials don't give the baby to him. Meanwhile, grandmother of the kind, Sonarani has urged the centre to intervene while his grandfather questioned the media as to how could a 11-month-old baby stay without his parents' care.
