An NRI was found dead at a hotel in Delhi. The dead person was identified as Verghese, whose native was Kerala, and resident of New York of the United States. The hotel management called up the police after they got no response from Verghese, who chucked in Vasant Kunj hotel in Delhi. After the police arrived, the management reportedly opened the door and found Verghese dead. He was reportedly last seen by the hotel employee on October 8. The police suspected that Verghese might have killed himself in the next twenty four hours. However, the police said that they could say something only after they get post mortem report.

According to the police, Verghese was a businessman who often visited India on business purposes. He used to board in the same hotel whenever he was in Delhi. A suicide note was recovered from Verghese's pocket, which stated that some of his close relatives borrowed money from him, which they never returned.
