Telugu Association of North America (TANA) chief Thotakura Prasad has said that everyone should strive towards protecting Telugu language. He said that this act should begin at one's home initially. Thotakura Prasad, who was in Hyderabad, has appealed to the government that strict laws should be made to preserve Telugu language. Further, he said TANA has been striving for the protection of Telugu. As a part of the same, TANA would hold Chaitanya Sravanthi at Ravindra Bharati auditorium in Hyderabad on December 21.
Thotakura Prasad said this show would feature Telugu music, dances, folklore and discussions on Telugu language importance. He has also said that Telugu people who have showed excellence in their fields would be awarded on that day. It may be noted that TANA already supported the World Telugu Meet, which is going to take place on December 28.
