Sleep well in summer for glowing skin

Summer is always a headache to women who worry little too much about their skins. Their extra sensitive skin will make them develop reddish skin when exposed to hot sun. While cosmetics companies constantly come up with their products to put an end to sun burns, the experts state that there isn’t any need to go for such cosmetics. Just good sleep and large amounts of water intake is sufficient for a better and healthy skin in summer.

Whole Foods India director and nutritionist Ishi Khosla said: "A clear and glowing skin reflects overall health. This requires a well-balanced fibre- rich diet, plenty of fluids, regular exercise, no smoking and avoiding excessive exposure to sun."

While many people show interest in cosmetics, the study has revealed that there isn’t any extra use of cosmetics to keep skin healthy. "The important nutrients for skin include proteins, essential fats, vitamin A, E, C, B complex, selenium, zinc and copper," added Khosla.

Also, many plastic surgeons have said that intake of large amounts of water will make the skin look more glowing and good.

So, why late? Take lots and lots of water from today and makes sure you also eat food, which contains rich fibre, and go to bed early.   (Phani)
