As on April 7 the World Health day is celebrated under the sponsorship of World Health Organisation (WHO).  On occasion of this PM Narendra Modi wished and prayed for the good health of people in his tweets.

He said in a statement, “On World Health Day, I pray that all of you remain in the best of health and at the same time inspire others to lead a healthy life”.

Mentioning the theme of year as ‘Food Safety’ he assured people that government is working hard to fulfill the dream of accessing proper and affordable health care. He said, "Theme of this year's World Health Day, Food Safety is an essential pre-condition for good health & we all must focus on it". "The government is working tirelessly to realise the dream of a healthy India where every citizen has access to proper & affordable healthcare", he added.
