Rohit Sharma may replace Virat Kohli as the Indian Skipper?:- Indian skipper and batsman Virat Kohli happens to be one of the most successful cricketers and captains of Indian cricket. As per the reports that are surfacing all over, Virat Kohli may soon quit captain for ODIs and he will be replaced by Rohit Sharma. Virat will quit as the white ball captain after the completion of the T20 World Cup that is scheduled to take place in October. There are talks that Rohit Sharma will take over the captaincy from Virat Kohli. But, Arun Dhumal, the Treasurer of BCCI condemned the reports.

Arun Dhumal says that Virat Kohli will continue to lead the team for some more time as he is in the best phase for the team. Arun Dhumal said that there is no meeting held by the panel of BCCI about the same. There are also talks that Virat Kohi himself will announce the news soon after the completion of T20 World Cup. There are talks that Virat Kohli wants to focus much on batting because of which he wants to leave his captaincy. Rohit Sharma too has been keen to take up the captain cap for the past two years. Virat Kohli won 65 matches out of the 95 ODIs and 29 out of the 45 T20s. When it comes to test matches, Virat Kohli won 38 out of the 65 test matches as captain.

On the other side, Rohit Sharma bagged several opportunities as a captain for Team India. He won 8 out of the 10 ODIs along with the Asia Cup in 2018 in Dubai.
