In the second test match, of Ind Vs SA, South Africa were bowled out for 214 in the first innings.
The opening day of the second Test in Bengaluru, has started on an exciting note. AB de Villiers, playing his 100th Test, top-scored with 85 after South Africa, were sent in to bat at the M Chinnasamy stadium.
Spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin, took out four wickets each. Ashwin took out Stiaan van Zyl and Faf du Plessis wicket in his first over, and Jadeja took de Villiers big wicket. This was the 20th time out of 246 Tests, where India has decided to field first.
When Ishanth and Binny opened the bowling, Indians found it tough to watch the match for some time. But after Ashwin, took the bowling, it is the turn for South Africa, to experience the tough time then.
Captain Hashim Amla walked in at 15 for 2, and soon gifted his shot into the hands of Varun Aaron. Though, Aaron had gone for 12 in his first 2 overs, Kohli believed in him and that belief has strengthened Aron, to take the wicket in the third over.
JP Duminy took 15 in a 42-run partnership, before gifting his wicket to Ashwin. But, De Villiers still went on for his 68 off 86, even after Vilas left the field after Jadeja bowled him. Finally, in the last over,just before the tea, De Villiers surrendered his wicket to Jadeja.
Finally, Morne Morkel and Kyle Abbott 37 for the ninth wicket to take South Africa to their first 200, but Binny ended that stand with a brilliant catch running behind and over his shoulder.
