Indian team For The Three-Match ODI Series Against NZ Announced:- The Indian team for the three-match ODI series against New Zealand was announced by the MSK Prasad-led selection committee on Saturday.
The likes of Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav, were not picked while the likes of Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and R Ashwin continued to be sidelined. Shami and Yadav were a part of Indian squad for the ODI series against Australia. Ravindra Jadeja, could not find a place in the 15-man squad for the New Zealand ODIs. After Axar Patel was injured during the India-Australia ODI series, Jadeja was brought into the Indian squad.
Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik and Mumbai speedster Shardul Thakur have made a comeback to the Indian squad. Karthik was in the squad for the three-match Twenty20 series against Australia. Shikhar Dhawan, too is back in the squad. The squad will be led by Virat Kohli.
On October 22, the three-match ODI series will start, whereas the second and third match will be hosted by Pune (October 25) and Kanpur (October 29) respectively.
