First T20: India Beat Ireland By 76 Runs:- In the first T20 International with Ireland, Team India's all-round performance made them end up win the match by 76 runs. India made 208/5 in 20 overs and thanks to the half centuries by Rohit Sharma (97 runs from 61 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (74 runs from 45 balls). Ireland has been restricted to 132/9 in 20 overs and Yuzvendra Chahal (3/38) and Kuldeep Yadav (4/21) shined with their bowling performances.

Wickets started to tumble down after after the spinners took charge. Earlier Rohit and Dhawan contributed 160 runs for the first wicket which is named as the second highest opening stand in T20s. Peter Chase picked up three wickets in the final over. Suresh Raina (10), Rohit, Dhoni (11), Kohli (0) lost their wickets in quick succession. The second T20 will take place tomorrow. Team India leads the series by 1-0.
