Asia Cup: Afghanistan Shocks India:- Team India has been racing ahead with back to back victories in the Asia Cup 2018 that is taking place in Dubai. India fought with Afghanistan in the recent match and it ended up as a tie. It reminded about the edge of the seat thriller after Afghanistan went to make 252/8 in 50 overs. Chasing a decent target, Team India opened with a bang but could not stand till the end and went all out for 252 in 49.5 overs. India looked super strong at 166/4 after which Dinesh Karthik and Kedar Jadhav added 38 runs for the fifth wicket.
It is then the game slipped towards Afghanistan's side and Indian lower order batsmen tumbled down. After 110 run opening partnership between Ambati Rayudu and KL Rahul, India sounded quite confident but things changed later. Before this Mohammad Shahzad (124) and Mohammad Nabi (64) shined with the bat after which Afghanistan managed to get 252. Ravindra Jadeja (3/46) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/38) have been impressive with the ball. Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been rested for the match and MS Dhoni turned captain for the match.
