Second Test: Australia Takes Revenge On Team India:- Team India surprised many by winning the first test and soon Australia bounced back in the second test. They proved their consistency right from day and dominated India and resulted in sweeping the Perth test. Australia managed to make 326 in the first innings and got a slight lead after India has been restricted for 283. Australia made 243 in the second innings setting a target of 287 in the second innings. Things seemed impossible for India as the top batsmen tumbled down soon.
Indian batsmen KL Rahul (0), Murali Vijay (20), Pujara (4) and captain Virat Kohli (17) departed early. Rahane (30), Vihari (28) and Rishabh Pant (30) managed to stand strong but they soon walked away after which India ended up their second innings for 140. Australia won the test by 146 runs and are 1-1 in the four test match series. Mitchell Starc (3/46), J Hazlewood (2/24), Pat Cummins (2/25) and Nathan Lyon (3/39) have been outstanding with the ball. The third test match between India and Australia will take place between December 26th and 30th.
