IPL 2019 Advanced Due To General Elections:- There has been a debate to conduct Indian Premiere League (IPL) for the year 2019 outside the country due the Parliament elections that are scheduled during summer. The IPL Governing Council and Supreme Court appointed CoA that finalized the schedule. The 12th edition of IPL will start from March 23rd and will be conducted in India. BCCI issued a press statement keeping an end to the speculations that IPL 2019 will be conducted in South Africa.

"Based on the preliminary discussions with the appropriate central and state agencies / authorities, it was decided that the 12th edition of the world's most popular and competitive T20 tournament will be scheduled to be played in India," the BCCI said in a statement. The final schedule will be announced soon. The final dates and venues of IPL 2019 will be announced once the election notification will be out. As of now BCCI revealed that IPL 2019 will be advanced than the regular schedule. The auction for eight franchises have been held recently. The IPL 2018 was held between April 7th and May 27th last year.
