Virat Kohli Scripts History: Crosses Magical Mark In IPL:- Indian skipper Virat Kohli is racing head in International cricket and he re-wrote many new records in a short span of his career. The young cricketer is leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru in this IPL and during their match with Mumbai Indians, Virat Kohli emerged as the second batsmen to breach the 5000 run mark in IPL cricket till date. Suresh Raina is the first batsmen to score 5000 runs in IPL format.

Virat Kohli needed 46 runs to cross the magical mark and the RCB skipper looked stupendous and perfect with the bat during the match. He took 165 matches to reach this mark while Suresh Raina made it in 178 matches. Indian opener Rohit Sharma is standing next to Virat with 4555 runs from 175 matches. While chasing 188 against Mumbai Indians, RCB looked stupendous with Virat, Parthiv Patel and AB de Villiers in great form. But they lost the match by 6 runs with five wickets left.
