Historic Moment: Team India Set for the First Day-Night Test:- Team India is all set for the first day-night test and it is a historic moment for the country. India will fight with Bangladesh in their maiden day-night test which will take place in Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. After a huge defeat with an innings and 130 runs, Bangladesh is in plans to bounce back in this test. Team India will go unchanged for the test while Bangladesh made two changes: Al Amin Hossain comes in place on Taijul Islam and Nayeem Hasanin replaces Mehidy Hasan. Eden Gardens is hosting its 42nd test and India, Bangladesh will play with a pink ball for the first time.

This match marks the international debut of SG Pink ball. The ball is made of imported leather and the inner core of the ball is made of cork and rubber. The ball weighs 156 grams. It has a circumference of 22.5 cms. The pink ball comes with three stitches and it takes at least 8 days to prepare compared to two days for the red ball. The tickets for the first four days are sold out for the test. Several big-wigs from BCCI and Indian cricket are expected to watch the match live. Indian skipper Virat Kohli called it a historic moment for the country.
