Virat Kohli Retains Top Slot in ICC Test Rankings:- Indian star cricketer and captain Virat Kohli retained the top place in the ICC Test Rankings for batsmen. Virat Kohli crossed Steven Smith after his outstanding performance against Bangladesh in the day-night test at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Steven Smith has been on the top place after he scored 774 runs in four Tests in the Ashes series against England. Virat Kohli scored a double hundred against South Africa and a ton against Bangladesh.

Virat Kohli is now leading the list with 928 points. Steve Smith is in second place with 923 points. Kane Williamson, Cheteshwar Pujara and David Warner made it to the top five. Virat Kohli scored 7202 runs in 84 tests and scored 27 hundreds. Steve Smith scored 7013 runs in 70 tests with 26 hundreds. David Warner climbed 12 spots and reached 5th place in the ICC Test Rankings. India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane dropped a spot to 6th after making way for David Warner in the top 5.
