No Change in IPL Timings Clarifies Ganguly:- There has been a discussion about the timings of the IPL matches this year after a debate triggered about the night matches ending up late. The Governing Council decided to go with the usual timings after a meeting was held. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly clarified about this saying that the night matches will start at 8 PM as usual and there would be no changes in the timings. He interacted with the press after the IPL Governing Council Meeting yesterday. He said that they have only five double headers this time and hence they decided to go with the usual timings.

He even said that the IPL 2020 Final will take place in Mumbai this year on May 24th. For the first time, 'Third Umpire no ball' and 'Concussion Substitute' will be introduced in IPL this year. An injured player can be replaced in the match with the new rule which was introduced in test matches last year. BCCI will have an All-starts game that features all the top international players before the season starts on March 29th. This is for a charitable cause and the venue for the game is yet to be decided. BCCI will handover the earnings to a forum said Ganguly.
